Holistic nutrition focuses on natural foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, fish, poultry, and other meats with out all of the mass produced industrial chemical laced and steroided foods and pesticides.
Holistic nutrition however, is not is a diet.
Holistic Nutrition is a natural approach to diet that considers the complicated relationship between the food you eat and all aspects of your lifestyle, including your emotional, spiritual, and physical health. It gives your body the natural nutrients and energy it needs to attain and maintain optimal health.
Holistic nutrition is not a “one-size-fits-all” plan.
As a holistic nutrition counselor my job is to help each individual in their journey to better health. To achieve better health we have to look at the individual – we are all unique and have different food triggers that cause bloating, indigestion, headaches, always feeling tired and rundown – and depress our immune system and it’s different for all of us.
